TLC WINS AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS AWARDS 5 YEARS RUNNING
Oct 08, 2020

Once again in 2020, TLC Healthcare has been recognised by The Australian Business Awards as Employer of Choice Winner, and also Winner for Product Excellence for the first time.

TLC Healthcare’s CEO, Lou Pascuzzi is proud of the organisation’s continuing success at The Australian Business Awards in recognition of its status as an industry leader. “This is the fifth consecutive year that TLC Healthcare has been named as an Australian Business Awards Employer of Choice. This year also marks five years of ABA 100 wins for TLC Healthcare in the categories of Brand Excellence (2016), Service Excellence (2017), Product Innovation (2018), Marketing Excellence (2019) and now Product Excellence (2020). This is a reflection of TLC’s exceptional culture at all levels that truly reflects its values of respect, accountability, excellence, collaboration, integrity and innovation.

“TLC is Australia’s leading provider of integrated healthcare, and prestige business awards like these support our claim to be one of Australia’s most innovative healthcare providers. This year’s ABA100 award for Product Excellence demonstrates TLC’s model of integrating residential aged care homes with primary health community medical centres was both ground-breaking and game-changing in our industry.

“We have been recognised many times for our employee experience strategy; but the fact that we win awards of this caliber shows that our program continues to be best-in-class for an Australian business. The quality of my team, conducive to our many independent awards, proves that TLC is attracting some of the best people in the country. Team TLC is an incredible group, who have demonstrated resilience, excellence and commitment throughout this challenging year.” says Pascuzzi.

“Each year the ABA100 Winners are recognised for the successful development of new and improved products and services and for implementing business processes that improve efficiency and performance,” said Ms Tara Johnston, Program Director.

“Introducing new approaches to processes, products, and services ensures a constant focus that helps build a dedicated market base and ensures that organisations remain responsive to business and customer needs.

“Fifty-four organisations have been selected in this year’s ABA Employer of Choice Awards. These organisations have demonstrated adaptability in the workplace by utilising flexible and new ways of working and learning.

“A culture of continuous improvement consists of incremental initiatives and innovations to achieve best practices. An innovative working approach also appeals to employees with higher levels of creativity and lateral thinking, helping organisations to hold on to their best talent.” Ms Johnston added.

Organisational participation includes private companies, public companies, multi-national subsidiaries, non-government organisations, educational institutions, government departments, government agencies, local government and statutory bodies operating in Australia.
